are you open year round?

That is our goal. We hope to have enough supplies and food donations to keep the pantry stocked throughout the winter and hopefully through the regular season as well.

do you accept monetary donations?

Yes! We are happy to accept cash donations to purchase the most immediate needs for our community. At this time, we are not able to provide tax receipts for any donations.

Why do we need a winter pantry

There are 2,787 residents 15 years of age or older Of those 1,482 (53.1%) earn $29,999 or less Of the 1,482 people, 804 earn (54.2%) earn less than $19,999 per year

A different way to look at it; There are 1,391 households in the Township, 226 (16.2%) of them earn less than $29,999 per year Of the 226, 116 (51.3%) earn less than $19,999 annually.

The above tells me that there are at least 804 (226 households) people in desperate need of help .

745 or 53.5% of the households earn a minimum of $60,000 to more than $150,000 per year. This may explain why our poverty level is transparent to most residents
